Why OnePlus 5T Is Number One Right Now

Do you know what is a OnePlus 5T? If not then you probably are contented with your phone only performing call and text and hardly some social media every now and then. But if you are the type of mobile phone user who seeks the best, then you certainly have heard of it already.

OnePlus 5T is the best android phone of 2017 and it is easy to see why. It has the same hardware components that most flagship phones have but in a better operating system environment. Yes, it runs Android Nougat at present but with what it can do, it seems hardly noticeable. But if you would prefer the latest Android Oreo running inside the OnePlus 5T, you are in for a treat. The company promised to have the Oreo version to be available early next year.

Now, for your curiosity as to why it is the number one smartphone right now, here are the reasons why. Please keep an open mind and see this information in a broader view and you will understand the point of this article.

The Price

This is the easiest point as to why it rises to the top—the price point. Unlike Samsung and Apple’s flagships, OnePlus 5T does not burn your wallet. It has the price $499.00 that is easier and more reasonable but it offers just as much satisfaction if not better compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X that are playing around $1000.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on your preference, and the “bezel-less” design that the 2017 trends about. For $499, you get most of what a Samsung flagship has to offer including the AMOLED display. And there is even more along with it.

The OnePlus 5T Performance

If you have been following OnePlus 5T on the internet, you will find that it beats Samsung’s flagship and Apple’s in terms of performance. With its smooth user interface, touch responses, app launching speed, and almost stock Android experience. It is considered a zero-lag performing device that does not dig a hole inside your pocket. The OnePlus 5T is simply the best smartphone for your money.

Their face detection feature for unlocking the phone is brilliantly fast. It might not be as secure as iPhone X’s Face ID, but it sure is something useful for a lot of people. It is even more useful especially for those who prefer speed and easy accessibility in their everyday use.

Battery Life

The OnePlus 5T has a 3300mAh battery that gives juice to its operating system. And even if it is not that huge, it leaves Samsung, Huawei, and Apple’s flagship in the dust. See MrWhoseTheBoss channel and you will see that this is not an empty claim. It is an actual and real-life test where it dominates the field so easily with a huge margin to show for it.

Not only that, OnePlus 5T has “dash charge” feature that can fill your smartphone from zero to 60% in just 30 minutes. For people that are always on the go, this is the perfect handset for them. And if you are one of those people that cannot part with their smartphones for more than an hour, this Android phone will best serve you.

This is by far the fastest charging phone that offers actual result. Unlike some handsets that are only good on paper and show a different story on actual use. And then there is that iPhone X that boasts of a quick charging added feature but actually not that quick in a real test. Plus, the quick charger is sold separately. How greedy is that?

It Still Supports Headphone Jack

While a lot of modern tech enthusiasts welcome USB Type-C as the present and future mode of data and audio medium, there are still more people who prefer using the headphone jack as their audio fix. And this is where OnePlus people get a plus point. It simply shows that they listen and still care about what the general public wants.

OnePlus 5T still has a headphone jack that most of us love to see on a smartphone.

Maybe headphone jacks are old school, but 2017 is not the year that it is going to be obsolete. Not even in the next two to three years. I would bet that it will still exist in the next five years.

As long as these mobile companies do not find a way to incorporate proper audio dongles inside a USB Type-C slot then headphone jacks will stay. And even if Bluetooth devices improve with the audio quality that it outputs, if the battery life does not improve, the headphone jacks will still remain.

Some Bad Features

OnePlus 5T is not perfect. Obviously, it has a lot of flaws as well. But with all its flaws, it delivers the major needs of the general users very well.

So here are some of its flaws as a smartphone:

  • Average camera quality output
  • Typical design
  • Not IP68 certified so no water-proofing included

That is all the flaws that are currently being addressed with regards to OnePlus 5T. And compared to other flagship phones, that is not bad.

If you have found more flaws and negative things about the OnePlus 5T, feel free to leave a comment below. We’d love to know more.
